Integrative &
Functional Medicine.
Root-cause analysis. Comprehensive testing. Whole-system protocols that treat the source — not just the symptom.
What It Is
Treat the cause. Not the label.
Conventional medicine is excellent at naming diseases and prescribing for them. It is far less curious about why a problem started — and why it persists.
Functional and integrative medicine asks different questions. What is the body trying to do? Where is the system imbalanced? What inputs — diet, sleep, stress, hormones, environment — are driving symptoms? Then it builds a plan from those answers.
Who It's For
For patients who know something is off.
You feel tired, foggy, inflamed, or simply not yourself — but every test comes back "normal." Or you've been managing a chronic condition with prescriptions that mute symptoms without ever resolving them.
Functional medicine is for patients who want a physician willing to look deeper, listen longer, and treat the system rather than the symptom — without abandoning the rigor of evidence-based medicine.
Areas of Focus
What We Treat
Comprehensive Root-Cause Workups
Deep evaluations for patients with complex, persistent, or unexplained symptoms — combining conventional and functional testing to identify what's actually driving the picture.
Hormone Optimization
Men and women. Testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, DHEA, and related pathways — assessed thoroughly and treated only when clinically appropriate.
Thyroid & Adrenal Health
Beyond TSH. We look at the full thyroid panel, antibodies, and adrenal function — because subclinical dysfunction can drive years of symptoms.
Gut Health & Microbiome
Digestive issues, food sensitivities, and microbiome imbalances — addressed through targeted testing and protocols designed to restore function, not mask it.
Autoimmune Conditions
Hashimoto's, Graves', psoriasis, and other autoimmune conditions — managed with attention to triggers, inflammation, and the broader immune environment.
Fatigue, Brain Fog & Cognitive Concerns
When energy and clarity decline, the cause is rarely one thing. We investigate sleep, hormones, micronutrients, inflammation, and metabolic health — together, not in isolation.
Inflammation & Metabolic Health
Insulin resistance, chronic inflammation, lipid imbalances — the silent drivers of long-term disease, identified early and addressed before they become diagnoses.
Nutritional & Micronutrient Status
Targeted assessment of vitamin D, B12, iron, magnesium, omega-3s, and other essentials — because deficiencies are common, often unrecognized, and almost always correctable.
Testing
Standard and specialty labs — chosen with care.
We use comprehensive standard labs available in Lebanon, and partner with international reference laboratories for advanced testing — DUTCH hormone profiles, GI-MAP stool analysis, organic acid panels, and others — when the clinical picture warrants them. Tests are ordered only when they will change the plan.
Our Philosophy
How We Treat
Lifestyle and nutrition first
Sleep, food, movement, and stress are the foundation of every treatment plan. Most of what's broken in a body responds to these inputs — when they're addressed seriously.
Targeted supplementation, not stacks
Where deficiencies or specific needs exist, we use evidence-based supplementation — chosen carefully, dosed appropriately, and reviewed regularly. We don't prescribe shelves of bottles.
Medications when warranted
Pharmaceuticals are tools — neither feared nor over-used. When the clinical evidence supports a medication, we use it. When lifestyle changes can do the work, we lean on those first.
Always under physician supervision
Hormones, advanced supplementation, and aggressive protocols carry real risks. Every recommendation is monitored, adjusted, and reviewed — because optimization without supervision is just experimentation.
Symptoms are signals. Real medicine investigates what's underneath — and addresses it.
